lifeofblair 308 Posted March 30, 2016 Hi yall, I'm having the issue with not getting my Protein. I am 5 days post op. I loved the Premier Protein before my sleeve, but now they make me feel sick. I went and bought Isopure today, the unflavored and it's smell alone will make you want to puke. I have no problem with drinking Water, eating sugar free Popsicles, and Jello. Im so ready for soft foods, then I wouldn't have issues with not getting my Protein. Any suggestions are appreciated. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App I was the same. I liked Premier Protein before the surgery then couldn't stomach it. I ended up having to do a lot of milk although I didn't meet my goals, but I was trying. I wish I had known about protein Water when I was right out.
DeletedMember 715 Posted March 31, 2016 @@kaitlynm When you mix the syntax up, does it end up all frothy and nasty (in my opinion!) like the other Protein options, or does it end up more like a flavored Water (similar to isopure)? Thanks.
Suzanne Hooper 16 Posted March 31, 2016 Hi. I'm 2 weeks post-op and looking for a great organic flavorless whey protien powder. Any recommendations? Ps: does vegetable juice count as food? Today I need to start adding food and the baby food is disgusting.

Thanks. I still found it to be frothy. I suppose I could have let it settle for a few hours, but the whey flavor just drove me away from it. kaitlynm 335 Posted March 31, 2016 I mix it up and then let it set in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. The froth all goes away then. I like it really cold as well (I now like my Water that way also). I don't taste the Protein Powder taste in it. I just taste flavored water. It does stay mixed in the refrigerator so no need to reshake it.
Robbie.R 2 Posted April 1, 2016 Hello, I use "Isopure zero carb" (creamy vanilla) and mix it with cold 1% milk. Two scoops Isopure and 8 Oz milk gives me 58 gram Protein in one haul. I use Isopure because of the high Protein content. It might work for you to. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
rusticlemon 9 Posted April 4, 2016 has anyone tried the http://www.bariatriceating.com/ and the blueberry cheesecake Protein powder?

We only metabolize about 20-25 grams of protein at a time so you would need to divide this up three ways to get benefit of all of the protein.
