Christina_rny. 8 Posted March 23, 2016 I wish I could have been one of the luck ones that didn't get much pain. But man gastric bypass hurts obviously it's going to but I didn't think my body would react this way. On the first night every time I would go to the restroom I would throw up. Having really bad nausea. A sharp pain and gas feeling in the upper part of my chest/stomach area. I've gone pee probably 20 times with all the fluids. Let me say this is NOT an easy journey. But I can't wait to get past this road bump! Best wishes to everyone else. Any questions please ask .... Daisee68 2,493 Posted March 24, 2016 Those first few days are the worst. Try Gas-X for the gas and/or a heating pad. Hang in there! Sent from my HTC One M9 using the BariatricPal App

Christina_rny. 8 Posted March 24, 2016 Thank you the encouragement. I've honestly never been in so much pain in my entire life. I think it's mostly a gas pain. Doc just came in and said I'll be going home today. Thank god! But fear is kickin in! So afraid of failure. Getting enough fluids in is harder than I thought. Everytime it hurts I tell myself wth did you do Christina why did you do this Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

4gifts4lisa 5 Posted March 28, 2016 I'm on day 7 of 14 day liquid diet. I'm finding it SO hard to not substitute a piece of chicken for a shake, because I know it won't break ketosis. Ugh!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
