brookriver2014 4 Posted March 20, 2016 Just wondering if ok to have a tiny bit of honey in my herbal tea? I am almost 7 days out and missing my honey....
Christinamo7 4,042 Posted March 20, 2016 I have a little honey in my tea and did then. in fact, I think I'll be sitting down to tea in about an hour or so. factor the carbs into your daily totals.
Dub 9,922 Posted March 21, 2016 I never did......but then again I use so much artificial sweetener that it can't be good. I need to reduce the amounts of Splenda and such I use. I may give small amounts of honey a try even though I know there will be more carbs involved.
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted March 21, 2016 I don't drink sweetener (artificial or natural) in tea. Why not try it without anything and see if you like it. One tea that is plenty sweet without anything added is Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice. I love it and there is a Decaf version that tastes great.
japeters 44 Posted March 21, 2016 You should discuss with your NUT or Dr. my program does not promote use of honey due to it being high in sugar.

JupiterinVirgo 846 Posted March 22, 2016 I absolutely had raw honey with tea for several weeks following my surgery. RAW organic honey contains many highly nutritive properties that help heal wounds and combat infection.
