Nikki Jarvis 6 Posted March 20, 2016 I do not think I ever had a moment when I thought I was fat. Growing up I was always outside playing, running around, bike riding, and just being a kid. I think it was after I hit the teen years and got into high school, I started with the weight. I was a sophomore in high school and I was wearing a pair of jeans (that I guess were a little tight) and someone told me I had a camel toe. THAT made me self conscience for the rest of the day. Kids are horrible these days. DOWN right horrible. I started with the baggy t-shirts and loose fitting jeans from then on. It wasn't until after I had my kids that I got to my highest.. 290. THEN I was in denial. Making pants fit that I knew I shouldn't be wearing, huffing and puffing just by doing a simple thing as walking around. I made the change in 2014 but sadly, I am not doing well with it and I feel like the fat failure. BLAH!
Healthy_life2 8,324 Posted March 20, 2016 My first comment about my weight was at 7yrs old. A elderly man told me that I better stop drinking milk if i wanted to be as slim as my sister. My weight has fluctuated most of my life. The message that high weight is not acceptable is constant. We live in a judgmental world. Now that I'm at a healthy weight, I find that some people will still find derogatory things to say..... It speaks volume's about them and nothing about you.
