My surgeon's guidelines before and after surgery are 96 oz of Water a day. I'm three days out and surprisingly that's almost been done.

Anyway, the question: I have a slight and very minute amount of pinkish tinge in my urine. I know it's not from dehydration.

Should I be worried? It's not very much and though I do have some pain everything seems to be going well.

You need to call the doctor.

It's likely that Daniotra is correct.

Whether you're just not saying it or don't know, pink suggests blood. Don't get excited. If it was a one-time occurrence, you may have scratched yourself. Otherwise it can be a little infection that can be knocked out easily. If I noticed blood in my urine more than once or perhaps twice, I'd make a gyn appointment.

I think I've found the culprit. I'm on a liquid narcotic and in between liquid Tylenol. It's shortly after I take it that this has occurred. Of course I'll continue to stay on top of it through the weekend, but I'm thinking that's what it's from.

Hubby looked and said he doesn't think it looks pink...hmmm

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
