janice jones 0 Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) Ok, so I'm 6 weeks out of gastric bypass surgery and can have Protein Bars for a meal (snack????). So I just ate a Premier Protein Bar that has a weight of 5.63 oz and I'm not suppose to eat over 4 oz. ... of course now i'm really paranoid that i'll stretch my pouch or gain weight. Uggh. should probably cut them in half going forward or no big deal really?? Your thought? Kindle 8,667 Posted March 14, 2016 I could only eat 1/2 Quest bar for the first several months. A whoke one just made me too full. (Aaaah, those were the days). So just eat what you can (or are supposed to) and save the rest for later. Makes for a really cheap grocery bill.

CowgirlJane 14,260 Posted March 14, 2016 Usually it is volume that is concerning... not so much weight of the item. I am a believer in listening to your body, eat to absence of hunger and save the rest for later! And yes, the good old days. I have alot more capacity now, that is for sure.
