nervousnelly719 67 Posted March 13, 2016 Has anyone felt good enough to start incorporating puréed foods in early than the 7 day mark... Like day 5 or 6? Last night I went to a steak house for a friends birthday and drank Water. I was sleeved on 3/7. I am also drinking pretty normal amounts with not much discomfort. - grateful & desperate for purée
cindyw41 761 Posted March 13, 2016 I started purée a day early. It was Shelly's ricotta bake. It was the best thing I ever ate.

GalleyGal 26 Posted March 14, 2016 I was sleeved on the 2nd and I'm not supposed to start purées until Wednesday (2 week mark). I've already had a couple of things that were mushy and I feel good. I went grocery shopping today to get ready for my mushy foods, I'll probably start Tuesday. Head hunger is real! kalea_04 14 Posted March 14, 2016 I talked to my doc about starting early because I was feeling great and ready for purée, but my doc said it isn't about how great you feel it's about letting your stomach heal. I would suggest talking to your doc before moving to the next stage early. I was on liquids for 4 weeks and it's hard but it makes the purée stage that much better!!! Good luck Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
