Foxy_lady 22 Posted March 14, 2016 I am right there with you. Post op Day 4. And it is all overwhelming. food is such an emotional thing. It's like they pulled us away from our mother on the first day of school. Some kicking and screaming. I am just feeling sad. Time does heal.Exactly ! @@laura_rose16 and now I'm waiting for 2 more weeks to eat some tuna when I'd rather have a steak lol Sent from my SM-G928T using the BariatricPal App
nervousnelly719 67 Posted March 14, 2016 I am missing my comfort too ..... This is our withdrawal period during rehab. That's how I like to think of it.... In retrospect this will probably be the hardest part.
atontor 1,068 Posted March 16, 2016 I had the sleeve done a couple days ago, and I feel like no one around me knows the pain I'm in. Sometimes I feel I won't accept my "new body" since I've been overweight basically since my adolescent. Probably just need to vent. Sent from my SM-G928T using the BariatricPal App NYC here. Was sleeved 5/29/15. HW 350. How are you? I know how you feel along of the others here. I thought I would regret this surgery but after 6 months and seeing the results I had it was the best decision I ever made. I added a pic to share. Looking forward to hearing from you. atontor 1,068 Posted March 16, 2016 Thank you [emoji4]. I pretty much able to eat anything thankfully but I watch what I eat and how much I eat of it. I make a lot of homemade chili with chicken and Beans that will last me a few days but I usually freeze some for another time. Also eat a lot of egg whites. Most of the time I get a piece of chicken and potato. I kinds stick to the 4-6 oz range. Hope to talk again.

But I'm gonna stick to that 4-6 oz measurement...I think it'll help me out alot. Thanks Sent from my SM-G928T using the BariatricPal App
