Juhygtfrdsd 154 Posted March 28, 2016 (edited) Hi memi...i think thing is to find what works for you Fluid wise...warm, hot, ice cold etc...i learned hot works great for me..and get creative with fluids i got sick of mine real quick but doing ok now...i heard of Protein shots going to buy some tomorrow keep you all posted. I love hot showers but they drain me the most..so in and out now... Edited March 28, 2016 by shortstuff4ever78
meimei25 28 Posted March 28, 2016 Thanks! Walking is just such a struggle I'm tired and in pain! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Juhygtfrdsd 154 Posted March 28, 2016 Are you in pain or spasam...big difference in my book pain i was able to deal with spasam not so much...when i drank anything my belly spasmed... That hurt but rare now...maybe once or twice a day no nees to put more drugs in me....however on my right side i feel a tug when i stand up straight so i always have to be careful with that... meimei25 28 Posted March 28, 2016 I think pain more than spasm. My back hurts, I walk hunched over. Trying not to do too many pain meds. I also suffer from rheumatoid arthritis so I am wondering if this slows down the healing process. Meeting with my RA Doctor next week. mkh1399 2 Posted March 28, 2016 What kind of Protein Shakes did you ladies find were the best?
meimei25 28 Posted March 28, 2016 I was recommended "Premier Protein" it's has 30 grams of Protein, 1g sugar, 3G fat & 160 calories per container. The chocolate is pretty tasty and it goes down nice. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Juhygtfrdsd 154 Posted March 28, 2016 I hate the pre made ones they taste gross to me...i buy Optimum Nutrition 100% Oats & whey powder... And mix in with powder pb2...i use soy, almond milk or Water depending on my taste for the day has 24 grams of Protein per scoop and fiber..with the soy or almond milk....plus....that with cottage cheese etc i get close to 60gms of protein in a day As for the pain...stay ahead of it... ilovevsg~susie 17 Posted March 28, 2016 I also drink premiere Protein, but I also have a non flavored Protein Powder called GENEPRO that I can put into anything like Soups, or crystal light that I love. One small scoop is 30 grams of protein.

jstachic 61 Posted March 29, 2016 I haven't been that tired, take chewable vitamins , I took my pain meds as needed, my sipping has slowed down bad on my part, I have not ran into any problems with yogurt or cottage cheese, the only 2 things I have tried so far I'm going to try egg tomorrow puréed with tiny bit of mayo ,
