kickinit 13 Posted March 15, 2016 I had a BMI of 31 when I had mine done. I don't regret it. I have dieted all my life and it is a struggle, every year I have watched more weight stay then what I set out to lose. I am only 2.5 months in, I have lost 33lbs. My sleep apnea is gone and I am hopefully going off my high blood pressure meds! I feel so much better. There is a Facebook group for low Bmi!
Stacey78 23 Posted March 15, 2016 My BMI is 29. I'm going to do it. The hunger that goes with dieting sucks. I eat the right foods and exercise is how I lost 65 lbs so far but I am constantly battling the gurgling and want more. It just plain sucks. If the tool is available why not do it. mrs w 56 Posted March 17, 2016 I had a BMI of 29 and was sleeved in January. I'm from Canada but had to go to Mexico cuz no doctor in Canada would do it. My weight loss has been pretty slow, down just over 20 lbs in two months, but I'm okay with that. I don't regret the surgery one bit. I was very active before and struggled to lose the weight, and the few times I was successful I just gained the weight plus more back within a few months. I was a binger and although I still have cravings sometimes, I can only eat a small amount. In the past everyone always told me dieting so strictly was bad for me and that's why I binged. I always knew I just had to learn to eat treats in moderation, but without the sleeve it just wasn't possible. Now it it finally is!
