Rvamom 19 Posted March 11, 2016 If everything goes according to plan my surgery should be approximately 5 weeks from now. Any tips on things to do before surgery? Things to buy? Things to do like exercise more, idk? I'm nervous about the actual aurgery but excited. Did you encounter any surprises in the hospital?
ajbishop2 18 Posted March 11, 2016 My surgeon recommended starting a basic Multivitamin to make sure levels are optimal before surgery. He also suggested selecting my Protein powder so that I don't forget about it. He said any exercises I can do, including abdominal exercises, will help me in the long run. I have been trying to eat clean, drink plenty of Water, and stay healthy. I'm 20 days out from surgery. my liquid diet starts in about 2 weeks. Did your surgery center give you a binder or anything with tips and instructions? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

rking 484 Posted March 11, 2016 I started my bariatric Vitamins a month before surgery. Start walking or working out. The better shape your body is in the easier your surgery. Start "practicing" eating more Protein and eating your protein first in your meals. Also, start practicing not drinking right before and during your meals. Practice eating tiny bites and chewing 25 times. Good luck to you!!!!!
