lorri716 256 Posted March 8, 2016 I've been so busy the past few weeks, trying to get my house ready to be on the market and purchasing a new home already that I've completely lost track of me and my journey. I haven't been able to exercise in about 2 months...which I hate because I love to exercise. My eating for the last 4 days has been terrible and I've gained 2 pounds. I am so disappointed with myself. I know that I will get to goal and I'm only 6 months out, and once I'm on the market with the house and settlement is done at the end of this month things will calm down. I vow to stay away from carbs and sugars starting right now. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App
tracy amanda 8 Posted March 8, 2016 Hello It's really hard to eat the stuff we should not be eating and it seems to go down much easier than the good stuff or maybe that's just me .

JamieLogical 8,710 Posted March 8, 2016 I went through the process of listing/selling my old house and buying a new house and moving from August through November. On top of that, my sister and her 4 kids had moved in with us in our old house in June and didn't move out until September (so they were living there the whole time we were showing and trying to sell our old house). It all turned my life completely upside down. But the beauty of it is, I came out the other side weighing the same as when I'd gone in. In the past, that amount of stress and being that far out of my routine for 5 months would have caused me to gain a good 50 pounds. But even though I wasn't exercising regularly and I wasn't as meticulous with my food, I didn't GAIN weight, which, for me, was a HUGE win. Sure I didn't lose weight either, but at least I didn't have a whole lot of ground to make up from backsliding. That is the beauty of the tool we've been given. It's still there, kind of doing it's thing, even when we can't use it to its fullest potential. But once we ARE able to get back on track, it so much easier! breezy25 69 Posted March 8, 2016 Forgive yourself now and move on. Being disappointed in yourself, while totally understandable, won't help you in the long run. You're human. Life gets in the way. Just pick yourself up, brush yourself off, forgive yourself and move on. Hang in there! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
livvsmum 2,369 Posted March 9, 2016 You are human and things happen! Just don't let it spiral out of control. Use it as a learning experience. I hope things settle down for you soon!
