creneeha 3 Posted March 8, 2016 What a day. I'm so tired, I was fine up until about 1:00.. Then I've not been able to get much of anything down. Only about 2ounces of my Protein Shake, 1 bottle of Water... I've got to find energy Sent from my SM-G900R7 using the BariatricPal App

SueAE 6 Posted March 8, 2016 I work in HR I still haven't done the surgery but I can only take 2 weeks off. My job is very demanding sometimes I'm all over the place with constant meetings and I'm worried I won't be able to cope Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
creneeha 3 Posted March 8, 2016 Well I took 1 week off plus the weekend so I had 10 days to recover.according to the amazing feedback I'm getting, it takes time. So I'm just gonna take it one day at a time. Had I told anyone about my surgery I probably would have taken 2 weeks. Nobody knows but my husband n daughter. Ironically when I got back to work yesterday my boss said"what are you doing, your losing weight?" I simply replied Protein n Water... Which is truth. BUT you may be a total different case. Best of luck to you, so far I'm pleased with my decision, Sent from my SM-G900R7 using the BariatricPal App
Catmom4 149 Posted March 8, 2016 I went back to work after 7 days. I was exhausted for the first month post op. It's gotten much better as I've been able to eat more calories. I'm 3 months post op now and although I still tire easily, it's nothing like that first month. I just suggest getting lots of Protein (at least 60grams) and fluids in every day. Hang in there. It will get better!

Lindsey Skinner Abbott 97 Posted March 11, 2016 I to work in HR. I am planning on two weeks off...surgery in May. I luckily work on the labor relations side so I don't have as many demands. I did tell my boss and she is supportive so hopefully my co-workers can help with running around the campus.
