ohhsosweetxvb 44 Posted March 7, 2016 It was probably the sausage. Did you puree it or eat it whole? At 14 days our I was still on a liquid diet, the next weeks I was able to move on to a pureed stage, which included soft boiled or poached eggs. But other that that no solids. Barry W 336 Posted March 7, 2016 I agree with ohsosweet - I think scrambled eggs, cooked on the softer side would be okay. But the sausage is firmer and greasier, so I'd avoid that for a good long while. Anything fatty, I'd avoid entirely for now. Fat irritates the bowel.

Daisee68 2,493 Posted March 7, 2016 I couldn't do eggs. Try refried Beans with a little cheese melted on it or the Ricotta Bake from Eggface website. Sent from my HTC One M9 using the BariatricPal App

Catmom4 149 Posted March 8, 2016 I'm not able to tolerate eggs. Never had a problem before surgery but my sleeve doesn't like them at all. Scrambled egg was my first "real" food I tried and it only took 2 bites to realize I couldn't handle it. Wanted to throw up. Now at 3 months post op, I've tried scrambled eggs 2 more times and have had same experience. Guess I just won't eat eggs again...sad!
