Congratulations on your surgery date. A whole new life is in store for you.

I guess my advice would be to keep reading all over this site. There's so much information and support available. Also, you may want to check out the August bandster thread and find people who are getting banded around the same time. These monthly threads are often the places where we find our bandster families in this big lapband community.

Good luck... Where are you having it done? I went to Penn Hospital with Dr Kirkland on 10/5/07. He is great.. I am doing well!
