bdfletch 166 Posted March 5, 2016 I also had my surgery Feb 12. I was reminded about the week 3 stall earlier this week. I would just continue getting in your Protein and 64 oz of Water daily. We all lose at different rates. Starting weight plays into it as well. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

None of us lose weight at a constant are steady rate. We all have periods of rapid weight loss and periods of no weight loss (stalls). Almost everyone experiences their first stall about three weeks after surgery. Just follow your program and focus on getting in all of your Protein and Water. Miss Mac 6,262 Posted March 5, 2016 Hang in there, Kiddo. I lost 22 pounds pre-op and then gained 12 pounds back from IV fluids in the hospital. By the time I lost those 12 pounds, I was into week three. It was not until week four that I really started to drop any measurable weight. Once I hit six months, the weight started coming off in Milligrams instead of pounds. It is what it is. Some of us are just slow losers and every excess pound is going to go out kicking and screaming!
