I had my sleeve in Novemebr as well and I am currently eating around 600-700 calories. Not sure if it's what I Should be eating but it's all I am able to eat. I still have tons of energy. Hope it helps!

This is a great question for your NUT. The number that drives everything is your Protein target,

Yes, it does. That is about what I'm doing. Feeling great. The scale has slowed down for me a bit. So I just trying to figure this out.

Great to hear we're around the same place for caloric intake. Weight loss has slowed for me as well. I think that is natural though as we move further away from our surgical date. I agree though with what I have heard from others about ensuring you get enough Protein and Water. I find that really effects my weight loss.

All the best!

My goal is 800. Most days I have to fight to get there. (7weeks out).

I can hit my Protein target with less than 400 Cals but know that is way too low. I "fluff" my calories with things like yogurt or hard boiled eggs.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
