Hi! I had my surgery March 1st too. I'm not able to eat until later today but that doesn't even sound good right now. How are you feeling? On day two I feel headachy and a little crampy which must be the gas.

What have you been taking for the pain? I did morphine and torodal (sp?) yesterday. Still feel like I need it but don't want to be a whiny baby in here.

Oh I don't want to be in pain. I just don't know if I should expect to feel no pain or if I should tolerate a little discomfort. Am I making sense or am I needlessly trying to be a tough girl?

Today I'm post op day 1. I met my goal of 24 ounces. Yesterday the first 2 small sips of ice Water in post anesthesia care unit gave me a funny feeling, it wasn't quite pain or nausea, but quickly went away. Later I tolerated ice chips better, I probably had 300 ml of clears at home POD 0. I do have a lot of pain at my port site, but no pain or nausea from sipping.
