melissap8577 3 Posted March 4, 2016 Yeah, I'm under 600 calories a day and at the point where I don't care if I have the meal or not but like everything else it depends on the Doctor and I'm pretty sure my being a diabetic is another reason Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

livvsmum 2,369 Posted March 4, 2016 It is rough, but honestly, probably the hardest part of the whole process for me! Just remember how much it sucks to go through the sugar/carb withdraw so you are not tempted to let them back in later and have to go through that again! Hang in there! jennagetssleeved 2 Posted March 5, 2016 I started my liquid diet the same day as you! My surgeon is super strict with it as well, I can only have the shakes, sf Jello and Popsicles! It sucks!!! It totally "crashed" my immune system too and I had to call in to work yesterday with a flu bug! When is your surgery supposed to be? Mine is scheduled for the 16th! justaboutme 42 Posted March 5, 2016 I start my pre-op liquid diet Monday and I can have 3 shakes and a small meal the first week or 5 shakes and then the second week its 5 shakes up to the day before then its Clear liquids. This is the part of this process that I'm dreading the most.
