MozzaWehsha 58 Posted March 2, 2016 I barely consumed some chicken broth and some apple juice. .and I have pooped 4 times today. Literally more than what I eat. Is this normal? Am I pooping everything I eat?
Cervidae 2,389 Posted March 2, 2016 Probably this is digested food matter left behind from before surgery, and you're just getting cleaned right out. That's exactly how I was for the first few days. Now it's pretty normal with the occasional unavoidable Constipation (those Protein Shakes can really do a number on you). I wouldn't worry about it unless it continues for a long time or it's making it hard for you to stay hydrated.
MozzaWehsha 58 Posted March 3, 2016 Thanks I hope you are right. It would be very difficult leaving the house like this Sent from my GT-N7100 using the BariatricPal App

You were incredibly spot on! and I am now constipatee ...so how do you deal with constipation? valentinebaby78 9 Posted March 13, 2016 Milk of magnesia Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Cervidae 2,389 Posted March 13, 2016 Milk of magnesia works, though I personally cannot stomach it. My gag reflex is super sensitive since surgery. I like Smooth Move tea. Much, much easier on my tummy.
Joner 2 Posted March 14, 2016 I had my surgery the 7th and hadn't pooped since the 6th until yesterday. I took powdered Miralax. I just mixed it with flavored Water. It's magic! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
