lifeofblair 308 Posted February 29, 2016 I still want to support the girls, so when I get asked I will do the gift of caring or troop to troop where they are donated to soldiers and such, but man I miss Thin Mints!
Jade99 40 Posted February 29, 2016 I think I did pretty good. I brought 2 boxes of Thin Mints, 1 for me and 1 for my mom. So far, I've just been following the allowed serving size, which is 4. Plus I'm drinking lemon Water to help curb any cravings, since I'm on a strict carb allowance.
Valentina 2,642 Posted March 1, 2016 Maybe they could come up with Girl Scout-branded Protein shakes! That's exactly what I made last night. My daughter brought a box of thin mints home from work. Rather than choke her , I made chocolate Protein shake and squirted some mint extract into it. Not bad! Not a thin mint, but it got me through a near disaster!!! OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted March 1, 2016 I haven't seen a girl scout all year, except on the internet. In my previous town they would have been all over, here, nothing.
BestDayEver 418 Posted March 1, 2016 I bought two boxes of the thin mints and ate six Cookies. The family ate the rest and I won't buy any more boxes. Previous years I would have purchased 12 boxes and could easily eat half a box of cookies on one sitting. I call this progress!!!!
lauraellen80 855 Posted March 1, 2016 The mint chocolate Quest bars taste a lot like Thin Mints. That is what I hope will get me through!

cdsjjotn 516 Posted March 1, 2016 I have 2 nieces that are Girl Scouts, I bought 5 boxes from each one and had them donated to the troops overseas. Out of site out of mind ...
Sophie74656 1,572 Posted March 1, 2016 I don't buy girl scout Cookies because the Keebler Elves make identical cookies for a fraction of the price all year long. I buy them occasionally and have no problem eating one cookie a day
newmebithebypass 713 Posted March 1, 2016 yeah i second the keebler elf thing although i will destroy a box of thin mints if left in my house so i never buy them
lifeofblair 308 Posted March 1, 2016 The only thing is buying Cookies from the girls supports their troop and that's how they get to go on trips and do service projects so I try to buy when possible. It's basically a donation.

JustWatchMe 7,117 Posted March 2, 2016 I bought five boxes of Thin Mints from a coworker. Gave two boxes each to my college daughters and one box to my mom. Too deadly for me to play with.
