Single Incision Surgery

I just found out that my doctor does the single incision technique. Anyone familiar with this technique? Any personal experiences?

Mine was the laparscopic method. I've heard that the single incision surgery is far more painful and takes longer to recover from. I've also heard the scar is bigger. My scars were tiny and are almost gone now.

I think the single incision is done laparoscopic and they just go thru the belly button. Much easier.

Yes, the one my dr does is a small incision around the belly button and it's also laparoscopic. So it's the same technique, but with only one incision. It's called PULS. I was just curious if anyone had it done that way. I hear recovery is pretty fast.
