biglady904 65 Posted February 28, 2016 I live in florida ( jacksokville ) and it covers 90% of my surgery but I was wondering the remaining 10% could I pay that after surgery and make payments ? Or is that due upfront ? Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App

purpleapple 21 Posted March 5, 2016 Hi Biglady904, Do you have your insurance through your job? Or is it a private one? My job has excluded any bariatric surgery so I was looking into a private one that will cover it. So far no luck!
catinaadams 6 Posted March 5, 2016 A lot of insurances don't cover it. I switched jobs to an employer who's insurance I knew covered it. Since my surgery I have moved and along w that have switched jobs and of course insurance and I'm having issues with complications from my surgery. My new insurance has an exclusion in the policy however the exclusion does not excluded complications from weight loss surgery therefore I'm going to be able to have my revision. catinaadams 6 Posted March 5, 2016 As for paying, try to make pay arrangements if not apply for a medical credit card called "Care Credit" the have promotions all the time for no interest.
