Tomorrow will be a month out of the hospital and i have not been taking my "Multi-Delyn liquid Vitamins" its just disgusting and i hated it, i hated crushing the pills as well that i just started drinking them in halfs, My question is there any other type of Multivitamins i can take that isnt liquid some type of pill or chewables if so any suggestions or brands links would be appreciated. Also in this 1 month Ive lost about 29 pounds but ive seemed to hit a stall as i keep going from 304-306 i dont think munch about it since i lost so much for 1 month.

@@JeffVII - "embrace the stall" is on here everywhere. they happen (stalls), so you are dead-on about not thinking too much about it. 29pounds in 1 month is excellent. Stay on track (off the scale - maybe once a week) and you will be fine.

Check with your NUT, but I was told I could do chewable children's Vitamins (Flintstones), 2 a day. If it had Iron in it, I could drop the Iron supplement as well. I did those for a few months.

My surgery is not until next week, but I will also be on Flintstone's 2x a day.

There are a ton of different options for Vitamins out there. I know for me the gummies seem to work okay and I was on them from week one on. I think the first 90/120 days I was taking half of the recommended dosage (1 Gummy per day instead of 2). Now I take anywhere from 1 normal dosage up to 2 ( 2 gummies in the am and then 2 in the pm). I have gone back and forth between Men's One a Day, and Vita fusion Men's complete Multivitamin gummies. The Vita Fusion's tend to taste a bit more sweeter to me, which is due I think to the fact that they have a sugary coating on them. They are also my emergency go to Vitamins whenever I forget to take my One A Days. I initially was looking at the brands that my surgeon carries in his office, but decided against them when it just came down to cost.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
