Titaniumsleeved2014 42 Posted February 24, 2016 Hello, everyone I'm a gastric sleeve patient that's had a few complications with the sleeve and I'm now scheduled for a revision to the bypass on March 16th due to those complication... Anyway I'm required to do a 2 liquid diet and I'm concerned about my blood sugar dropping to low because I'll be working up until the day before my surgery and my job requires a lot of moving and lifting and sweating continuously for the first four or five hours not to mention I usually workout an hour a day. Any suggestions that could possibly help with managing my blood sugar and avoiding dehydration prior to surgery Sent from my LG-D850 using the BariatricPal App
IzzyB 2 Posted February 27, 2016 Are you able to do clear Liquid Protein? I am on clear liquids two days as well and was told clear liquid Protein is acceptable. I ordered some from a bariatric site. Good luck.
Titaniumsleeved2014 42 Posted February 27, 2016 Yes, someone suggested nectar and Isopure. There was another one but I don't remember the name of it.

DeletedMember 715 Posted March 21, 2016 Does anyone know if the chicken broth has to be fat free ? I bought regular wondering if I need to return it?? Depends on your surgeon. Mine didn't say anything about fat free, but he did want it to be low sodium or homemade. Either way, I can't imagine it's a deal breaker, but if you're concerned ask your doc.
