Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 24, 2016 This is a little woo woo, but there are some really good insights in this article: http://www.elephantjournal.com/2015/11/running-on-empty-7-tools-to-heal-emotional-exhaustion/ Whether you are preparing for or recovering from surgery, you may experience emotional exhaustion. What tools do you find useful? Would you add anything?

What tools do you find useful? Would you add anything? I found that, for me, once I had made "The decision", I immediately felt not quite so exhausted. I felt much lighter of spirit and soul as if a great weight had been lifted. Great reading. Thanx!
Spinderella 9 Posted February 24, 2016 I'm a worrier by nature, so once the decision and approval happened...it made things even more real. I'm still working to prepare for the way to "let it go" in terms of the fears that come with the surgery itself, but I'm also working on making lists for what I'm looking forward to and mapping out how I'm going to document my journey. Those two things are really helping me keep it in perspective and to try and feel better about what's to come.
