Maybe work on what you are eating. I've struggled to have smaller portions so far as I'm always hungry but I'm aiming for healthy food and increasing my exercise. This has helped me drop a few kgs

I struggled my first month during my medically supervised diet (required for 6 months per my insurance). My head just wasn't in it - to me, it felt like yet another attempt to lose weight that I was just going to fail.

BUT then I realized this is the time to get my act together because this time I will.not.fail. There's a light at the end of this yo-yo dieting tunnel and I'll soon have the tool I need to help me be truly successful. With the mindset shift, I was able to make a couple of changes that have really helped and I've been steadily losing since then. I started swapping out one meal a day with a Protein shake or Protein Bar (paired with some veggies or something small). That change led to other changes (better eating/better choices) and a few weeks later I seemed to break out of the cycle of constantly craving crap food. I hope you find something similar. Good luck!

You gotta reel it in and get control of that. Don't sabotage yourself! I know there can be a tendency to want to eat all kinds of things since a restricted diet is ahead, but you know what? If you're anything like me, you've already been eating all kinds of things, for years, that's how we got here! Now is when it has to stop...

P.S. I think the mental attitude is most important, but physically speaking, you want to strictly minimize sugar and carbohydrates and drink your Protein shakes to help control cravings.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
