bobr68 11 Posted February 20, 2016 So I'm two days out and my nutritionist advised I could ear dannon light and fit yogurts in any flavor. While eating the coconut and pineapple I had a small piece of pineapple, more like a shred, go down. Painful but the pain subsided. Could I have damaged the sleeve? cindikevin2 44 Posted February 20, 2016 No unless you have additional symptoms. They told me the zero yogurt was the best.
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted February 20, 2016 Hopefully she meant yogurt without bits in it. Since it caused you discomfort, you could dilute it with milk and strain it.
bobr68 11 Posted February 20, 2016 Maybe she didn't realize it had a little pineapple in it. Feeling better now. I just have a great imagination of a tiny piece of pineapple clinging to a staple and causing an issue.
GibbsGirl 483 Posted February 21, 2016 They told us just no large chunky yogurts, tiny pieces were ok.
bobr68 11 Posted February 21, 2016 This wasn't a big chunk. But it felt like sponge bobs house was in me.

CowgirlJane 14,260 Posted February 21, 2016 You are ok, but it does seem early for chunky food. My world view is to think about today...and tomorrow..not about the past (unless you learn from it!) My politics may not be uber conservative, but when it comes to health - be careful! I know you are fine but go slow...

rln52 136 Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) I found that sticking to items that were smooth (no chunks) made me mentally feel safer that I wouldn't cause any problems. Edited February 24, 2016 by rln52
