Clearing notifications on phone

Recommended Posts

Since downloading the latest upgrade to the app on my iPhone, I can't figure out how to "clear" notifications (the number in the red bubble next to the app's pic). They just keep accumulating. How can I clear them? Thanks!

Me too! I thought about turning notifications off all together since I get emails when someone replies to a topic I've participated in. So annoying!

On the new app there is a little star. It's yellow if you have participated, if you click the star it will turn off the notifications for that post.

Thanks! The annoying part is though that I've only participated in 10-15 topics, but the red icon on the app itself (for iPhones anyway) says that I have 69 notifications. Every day it grows. But when I go into the app I can't find anywhere that 69 things are trying to get my attention. I don't know if this is what everyone else is talking about, but that's what I'm dealing with. post-270833-14568709102955_thumb.jpg

@@RoadToMe that's how many people that have liked your post or quoted what you've posted. On the opening page there is 3 lines to the top right of the screen. If you click that and go down to notifications and select the "bell" it should clear that number.

eTA. You can also turn off notifications in your app settings on you phone.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
