LisaMergs 2,854 Posted April 4, 2016 My Protein is going down faster when I double the scoop to the same amount of liquid, or, I add one scoop of a flavored protein and one scoop of unflavored. Only gets a bit thicker but by volume of liquid it's the same but way more protein. My am shake totals 48 g ( I use water) and I get the additional in with yogurt. My buddy here adds Protein Powder to her yogurt!
Blberry 1 Posted April 7, 2016 Hi, had my sleeve the same day, 3/23/16 & I can't seem to get in my Water what are you doing to help you? I'm glad I found someone who had it the same day as me :-) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I found an app on my phone that reminds me to drink every 15 minutes. I have it set to 2oz every 15 minutes. Works pretty good. But it is very annoying to get this reminder... lol but if I don't do that I won't drink enough.. frannydee 5 Posted April 8, 2016 Hi everyone, I was sleeved 3/28 and I feel I'm doing very well, maybe too well. I also have no problem drinking and have eaten smushies already with no problems. Hummus, low fat Vienna sausages and even saltine crackers after letting the pieces melt in my mouth. I'm counting the calories & logging them but it scares me a little that I'm able to eat so easily. It was supposed to be easier to lose weight after the sleeve. Am I alone with this issue?
martm22 4 Posted April 8, 2016 Honestly it scares me that I had no difficulties just a little discomfort by my larger incision. But I can drink like a champ like before vsg. Eating I take easier, I never tried pushing myself. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have lost 20 lbs since surgery but already feel like I have hit a plateau. trish - I had my surgery on the same day. Live in Houston, Texas area. By 2 weeks I had lost 20 lbs. Week 3 was slow, but this week is back on track. Keep drinking Water and getting your Protein in. Only issues I have had is I did not chew some cauliflower enough and it came back up. Only happened once. I also note when I eat and am quite full I get heartburn. If it continues I will give Dr a call - maybe get some pepcid.
