perforce 243 Posted February 25, 2016 Don't be scared, the infection is literally the only problem I've had so far, and it was only because the two that got infected were between my stomach and the roll above it so they rubbed (the stitches were possibly too tight also, as we had trouble getting them out). Everything else has been fine. No gas pain, no vomiting, thus far no acid refluc *knocking wood as I type all of this*

perforce 243 Posted February 26, 2016 The hunger may go away, for a little bit after surgery you still have the hunger hormone in your body. Also, some people don't feel the restriction until they hit mushy/solid foods.
JapGirl 229 Posted February 26, 2016 Have you tried drinking a protien shake? It helps me not be hungry. Thats what I sip on all day.
Fluffy779 13 Posted February 26, 2016 Ok had my sleeve on the 23rd. Pain was out of control. I am home now and attempting to get rid of these gas pains. Hopefully I am able to rest. perforce 243 Posted February 26, 2016 I didn't have gas so I don't have first hand experience, but people say walking and gas-x strips. Sent from my SM-G900H using the BariatricPal App
