lgrif1201 6 Posted February 21, 2016 So you've never got really hot and sweaty after eating too much or burped uncontrollably or any adverse side affect when your fool??
jantra12 28 Posted February 21, 2016 I was told to take my chewable vitamins after one week. They don't want me to get nauseated
Pedro Valle-Inclan 275 Posted February 21, 2016 Hi Igriff, no, nothing like that. The only negative thing I've experienced in the 9 days has been feeling like a little knot in my stomach but up higher. It's happened perhaps 3 or 4 times but it's been clearly from too much food or beverage. a good burp as seemed to help. So far no hiccups. No, I think I'm very fortunate given what I've been reading from others. I won't weigh myself until wednesday, I ONLY weigh at work on the nurse's scale
kanaud 70 Posted February 21, 2016 (edited) Anyone using the PatchMD as their Multivitamin? I don't have my first round of bloodwork until next month. Hope the patch is delivering what claims!! Edited February 21, 2016 by kanaud
lgrif1201 6 Posted February 21, 2016 I've never heard of PatchMD before...I'm currently using Bariatric Fusions... They seem to be doing the trick for me
Jennifree 16 Posted February 21, 2016 I found these neat little pill bags at Walgreens, which are able to hold the large chewable Bariatric fusion Vitamins. They also have labels on the outside, so you could write am or pm on them. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 21, 2016 It seems odd to me that I'm NOT supposed to take any Vitamins until my three week checkup, does that seem odd to anyone? Not really. I started mine 2 weeks post-op. I was pumped with so many Vitamins in the hospital that I was good to go for a few weeks I found these neat little pill bags at Walgreens, which are able to hold the large chewable Bariatric fusion vitamins. hhbbmm4 38 Posted February 23, 2016 I take all Gummy Vitamins (it's like eating a treat!). Multi gummies 2x/day, Calcium gummies 2x/day, small swollable Iron 1x/day (don't take with your calcium), B12 2x/week. But I've been a Vitamin queen my whole life so not hard for me to remember. But, I don't use a pill container, I use those plastic little zip lock pill pouches (at Walmart) and pack a week's worth at a time so they are grab and go! AnnainOK 49 Posted March 3, 2016 I have a very large version of the daily pill organizer you mentioned. Each compartment is a 1.25" cube, and a day has four cubes. Even with all my fish oils and over-size chewables, I have enough room.
