sherilynn 1 Posted July 31, 2007 I would really love to know why.... Somedays I can eat so much Somedays I can eat so little and be satisfied Sometimes I don't want to eat Sometimes all I think about is food The head part of this; I get...boredom, stress, etc. are all factors of course. Then the phisilogical part of PMS, etc. But some days - my restriction varies so much, it's like my band is in one day and out the next. YIKES!:paranoid
Iluvharleys 15 Posted July 31, 2007 That's why we call it a finicky "b!tch". Sometimes I think I don't have a band at all, and the next hour I can't eat anything.
sebsternooni 0 Posted July 31, 2007 I feel the same way I think its all to do with the way your brain thinks as well I havent had a band fill yet and Im really struggling. Im starting to worry any advice im sarah by the way
Ange123 0 Posted July 31, 2007 Hi I totally agree with all the statements here. I was banded in NZ on the 29th june and as yet I have not had a fill it feels like i dont have a band at all!!! i hope all is ok. the doctors in NZ are very cautious about doing any fills to early they want to wait for scar tissue to for properly aount the band. they have had success and nil slippages. galati25 0 Posted August 1, 2007 Hi Sarah and Ange - you're in what has been referred to as "Bandster Hell" - lol - before the fills, I wondered if I even had a band. I couldn't eat anywhere near what I could before - but I sure didn't feel like I had been banded. Wait until your "most likely" 2nd or 3rd fill - you'll find that restriction everyone is talking about. First one didn't do anything for me. I had my second one a little over a week ago - I'm actually eating from a small plate - can't get anymore than that in - and down five lbs. So, don't worry - it will happen.
