clardoss 6 Posted February 13, 2016 So yesterday my husband was getting a little antsy and decided to call the hospital to see what out portion for the hospital would be, if they had already pre-admitted us (etc). They kindly said they call all patients the day before surgery with all that information and more. Alrighty. Then my husband called the surgeon's office to make sure everything was still good on their end. Lo and behold, the labs and EKG that we did at the beginning of January came back with a small issue on my husband's EKG. First off, when where they planning on telling us/him? Second, he was told that the surgeon will only continue with his surgery if he has a stress test done. Now remember, this is all transpiring Friday afternoon; surgery is Wednesday! After calling the hospital (in town) and explaining that we need a stress test done ASAP, the very kind scheduler put him on for Tuesday. (Surgery is Wednesday) Needless to say, I had quite the panic attack yesterday. I keep praying-not my time but YOURS. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
