If the food is already soft and mushy? @@Lisa_85 i don't think you can different foods take different amount of "chews" to disolve any food, chicken, beef - chili, cheese etc chew until it's mush, then don't chew the mush!!! Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 12, 2016 This is one of the things I have been paying attention to on My 600 Pound Life where I see myself reflected. It is interesting to see everyone pre-op take huge bites of food before even chewing or swallowing what they already have in their mouth. No wonder the portion sizes and volume of food consumed is so massive. ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted February 13, 2016 interesting to see everyone pre-op take huge bites of food before chewing or swallowing what they already have in their mouth. @@Lisa_85 i saw/watched my mom eat a sandwich the other day (she is a tiny person) I am not a peeping grammy, but i couldn't help but observe she was JUST about finished eating/chewing one bite of food then she inhaled another bite it was like if she didn't immediately take another bite quickly, i was gonna take her plate away i recognized myself eating/chewing just like i did in my past life no longer - slow and easy wins the race now i eat and chew carefully, slowly enjoy/"savor" each bite get and stay full for a longer time BUT - once its mush - it's history!!!
