ocexpress 0 Posted July 31, 2007 I started walking prior to Surgery to get the blood flowing and continued after working my way up to 30 minutes a day... So I decided to wash my car one day and then it hit me... Light-Headed... I had to stop for a while and continue at a much slower pace. It took me 2 hours to complete the process... Why does this happen? I'm used to doing things and washing my car is a weekly chore that I had no problems with before surgery... Thanks, Nate 450+/423/393/
Chris_NJ 9 Posted July 31, 2007 Do you take blood pressure meds? I would recommend seeing your primary care doc to evaluate your dosage. The same started happening to me. Once you start exercising and loosing weight your BP tends to get better and you may need less dosage.

One time almost blacked out. My nutritionist said it was because i wasnt eating enough. My dr tells me i am eating too much. Who knows. I am still losing so i dont care about the calories - i just hate the feeling of almost passing out

ocexpress 0 Posted August 1, 2007 Thanks for the 411... My blood pressure has been boderline high for years. My last visit after surgery it was 127/74, the lowest in years... My doc is thinking of removing me off the meds as I continue to lose more weight... But until then, I'll just take easy while washing the ride...
