Lisa_85 118 Posted February 8, 2016 I had just starting eating Soft foods today and I was wondering if you can have fruit with that?
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 9, 2016 When I was on soft foods I had no sugar added applesauce and no sugar added diced peaches on occasion.
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted February 9, 2016 I was allowed fruits on soft foods as long as they were soft enough to be cut easily with a fork, and they fit into my daily carb limits. So the reality was I rarely ate fruits other than blending a small amount of berries into my Protein Shake or occasionally eating a few ripe strawberries. fruit was just too high carb for my menu. FrankyG 1,450 Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) fruit is one of the things I don't eat hardly at all any more. Just can't take the high sugar. Be careful tho, as it could cause a sugar dumping episode (sick/throwing up and shaking). Look for lower carb (low sugar) fruits like strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe. And eat VERY little of them until you see how you feel after. Edited February 9, 2016 by FrankiesGirl

Dub 9,922 Posted February 9, 2016 I avoided them due to the sugar content.
Lisa_85 118 Posted February 9, 2016 Can you have sugar free pudding?
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted February 9, 2016 I was allowed to mix some sugar free pudding (1 T.) into a Protein Shake, or to make sugar free pudding if I mixed in an equal amount of Protein Powder as pudding mix, but not to just eat it on its own.
jhclikesshopping@gmail.com 285 Posted February 9, 2016 banana make me CRAZY Full fast... so be careful. I had luck early on with melons - honeydew and cantaloupe. But my early time was season for them. Another one that works for me is grapes. I had to watch the skins but the big ones in half and chew good...
