Hi everyone...I'm new here. There hasn't been any activity here in awhile but I hope someone reads this. I'm planning on getting sleeved soon. I'm aggressively meeting all the requirements and hope to get a date at the end of March or sometime in April.

I'm 5'2 230lbs and I was wondering how many of you became petite after you lost the weight. It;s like you take off that costume and surprise! So I have short legs and I'm always looking for brands that sell PW (petite womans). And there's not many! That way I get the shorter leg but the width too.

So did anyone else discover that they were a real true petite. After the weight could you just fit the "p" clothes outright? This is a really silly thing to waste my first post on but when I saw a 5'3 under social group I couldn't resist.

I am your height and weight too! I hate buying clothes, especially pants, because it is so hard finding a petite length. Some petite lengths are too short while regular is way too long. I am hoping for a June surgery. How about you?

Im still on my journey so i cant really answer but just wanted to second your question! Why is it assumed fat people are tall?? The struggle for plus size petites.. Lol.

I am in Petite sizing. Great for pants and long sleeves. I always thought I had a large frame, no, my frame was just covered in fat. I am currently a 4P.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
