sja 38 Posted April 27, 2016 Wow! That's awesome hazeleyes45! I'm only down 25lbs and getting a little discouraged. I feel amazing, but wish I was losing faster. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Hazeleyes45 4 Posted April 27, 2016 Don't get discouraged Sja...It takes time. 25lbs in 2 months is excellent. My doctor to me to stay away from Pasta, rice, and bread for 6 months.
KristenLe 5,979 Posted April 27, 2016 (edited) @@sja 25 lbs is a good loss - don't be discouraged! It's very difficult comparing to others - we all lose at different rates - everyone's situation varies. Some who lose more in the same amount of time may have had more to lose - or they lost less during the pre-op diet or they exercise more - no two people's experiences can be compared. If you feel like you are in a stall - go back to basics - be sure to track your food, get enough Protein and Water - and stay away from carbs - and exercise. Hang in there! Hazeleyes45 4 Posted April 27, 2016 @"KristenLe" you are right. I walk 3 times a week and drink Protein Shakes everyday. It's a hard process but all I can do it try and stay away from the carbs
ewalter31 2 Posted June 30, 2016 Needing encouragement. I had my sleeve done on 2/22/16 and have only lost 28 lbs. I feel so discouraged. I was hoping by now I would have lost 40 lbs. What should I do? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Are you following a nutrition plan and exercising? I've lost 60lbs now (from my heaviest) but only 45 lbs since surgery 2/23. I'm at fault for not following plan. I'm ok with it though because I'm still losing. I know it would be faster if I was not drinking alcohol and was eating more Protein.
