Essential Journey 3 Posted February 7, 2016 Hairfinity is wonderful but it can be expensive. Pre-op you can take Bariatric Advantage, a chewable tablet you take twice a day so you don't have to buy all of those other Vitamin concoctions. I like simplicity, if you can afford Hairfinity get it but Biotin at you local Vitamin Shop is just as good and make sure it's 10,000 units.
olgirl06 33 Posted February 8, 2016 My date is 2/23 & my doc put me on a 2 week liquid diet. I can have a 4 oz chicken breast or fish baked of course along with non starchy vegetables. They told me to continue taking Vitamins like Biotin and Vitamin D so that's what I'm doing.
because 63 Posted February 8, 2016 If you hair is thin I would suggest getting a wig. There is no shame in it and personally I would rather ware a wig for several month rather that continue at my weight. Ps there are some good wigs out there. Good luck! Proud2BMe 1,016 Posted February 8, 2016 My 2 week pre-op diet: Week 1 All the Water, tea and sugar free drinks you want All the chicken, beef or vegetable broth you want Protein shakes (2 a day, Breakfast and lunch) sugar free Jello Sugar free popsicles dinner is lean, unbreaded meat on a bed of greens Week 2 The same as week 1 but dinner is replaced with a third Protein shake. Don't worry about hair loss. It's not permanent.
