Marissa424 1 Posted July 30, 2007 Firstly- I cant eat more than a bit of food (not related to the question beloew because the problem i am having has been occuring before I got my lastest fill), and I am not really loosing weight with eating so little - I just made an aapointment to get my band loosened - anyone else? :help: Secondly and more importantly - I have horrible shoulder pain (left) that comes and goes with no warnings - its not like i am hungry or too full and its not gas like the pain I had after surgery. The scariest thinig is that the only trigger I noticed was when my back is against something it starts to hurt and when I push down on my stomach the pain releaves slightly ------ What do you guys think is going on? My Doc seems to have turned into an idiot and just tells me its things I know its NOT so I was hopeing my fellow bandsters had some insight!!!
Ariel 1 Posted July 30, 2007 I'm not sure what is could be but i hope that you feel better real soon. I'm curious what does your doctor think it is, if you don't mind sharing?

Sula 0 Posted July 31, 2007 I have periodic shoulder pain on my left shoulder by my collar bone. It comes and goes and is uncomfortable but not unbearable. When I first had my surgery..well, maybe a week out...that is where the gas pain would settle, as well as along my sternum. I don't know what it is but figure it is a by product of the band somehow. I don't think it is gas, but maybe a nerve or something connected to something else?
Marissa424 1 Posted July 31, 2007 DO you think its something as serious as a slip? or erosion? I am starting to think this because i can only eat a bite or two of food at each sitting
Marissa424 1 Posted July 31, 2007 I had the bad gas/shoulder pain after surgery but this is surely not the same thing!
isabellesma 0 Posted July 31, 2007 Have an ultra sound done on your gall bladder. I just had mine removed about 3 weeks ago. Same symptoms as you, but lots of pain from front to back in the sternum area. I hope you feel better soon!
