If you're referring to the pre surgery liquid diet then maybe. My dr said I could have broth (I drink the juice from chicken noodle soup) or cream of Soups as long as if there are any chunks I blend them up. So far I've blended some chicken noodle and it wasn't bad. I want to try some kind of potato Soup. But my dr gave me a grocery list of what I could have. I don't know if every dr differs that much.

During my all liquid phase, creamed Soups were considered liquid and counted toward my daily liquid requirements.
