Healthy_life2 8,324 Posted February 5, 2016 @@katiee No need to get into a purging eating disorder. Weight loss with surgery is still about eating healthy and exercising.
Dub 9,922 Posted February 5, 2016 Has anyone tried Water pills or laxatives before you had to do your monthly weigh in? Why would someone want to do this ? The loss/gain is what it is. Cheating the number by a pound or two on monthly weigh-ins won't help you.
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 5, 2016 Has anyone tried Water pills or laxatives before you had to do your monthly weigh in? NO. If this is something you are considering doing then I recommend you talk about why you feel the need to do this with a counselor or therapist.
JamieLogical 8,710 Posted February 5, 2016 This does not sound like healthy behavior. I agree with the others that if you are resorting to this sort of thing, you should consider talking to a counselor about it or even just your doctor. If there is something about your monthly weigh-ins (with your doctor, I assume?) that is causing you that much anxiety, maybe have an open and honest conversation with them about why you are feeling so much pressure.
