Physical work post op

I'm trying to find out how long I should plan to be out of work after vsg. I am a medical massage therapist so I do alot of leaning forward while pushing and pulling and stretching people. I want to plan my finances and this information would be helpful.

I am a Lab tech, I was out for 3 weeks

For a desk job, it's common to only take 2 weeks. But for a physical job, I would think 4-6 weeks. Perhaps ask your surgeon's office? They are the ones that will have to clear you to return to work anyway.
