Thruthick2thin 9 Posted February 2, 2016 Hi there lovelies! I have been sleeved on the 13th of January and so far lost 23 pounds. I am in the pureed phase now and for the past 3 days I have stayed at 220.8. I'm such a rookie I'm not sure if it's too early for that or I should be doing something different. Isn't it too early for the "stall" thing to start??
Caela88 13 Posted February 2, 2016 I don't think it is too early since everyone is so different. I myself was so worried with the fact that I am just over a week out and have only lost 5lbs within the first 4 days and nothing at all since. It's easy to start comparing others weight loss with your own and feel discouraged. Just keep following your plans and stay on track! AMAZING JOB on the 23 lbs!!!! FrankyG 1,450 Posted February 2, 2016 Yes it is completely normal. Search for three week stall and you'll get lots of hits.
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 2, 2016 We all lose weight at different rates. We all experience slow downs and stalls in our weight loss. Most of us experience our first stall about three weeks after surgery. Just follow your program. Focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids. Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed. Exercise when cleared. And, Embrace the Stall! http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall
