Hi 2/9ers I miss you guys, it's been hectic on my end - have been traveling non stop for the last month

TxJP wow 65 pounds you are doing fantastic - I haven't been on the scale in a few weeks due to not having one at my fingertips but it's probably a good thing [emoji16]

Positive - glad to hear the wrap went well and congrats on the 53 pound loss [emoji322][emoji322][emoji322][emoji322]

I have to agree with TxJP lose skin is no joke and is so yuck - I realized the depth of my lose skin last night in my midsection but hey it comes with the territory

I have been working out like a beast so hopefully it will snap in place, otherwise Tummy Tuck it will be, one day

Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well. I'm on my second body wrap. Really helps with tightening the skin and moisture. I like the process a lot. I have one more in the package I purchased and will do that one the end of June.

I wanted to ask is anyone else having trouble eating? One day I could be great and drink lots of Water, Protein shakes, and eat without any issues. However lately I've noticed I can't eat as much or drink. I'm talking the smell or sight of food makes me nauseous and I just stay away from food that day. It's bothering me enough that I'm mentioning it so... Please let me know is anyone else is having similar inconsistencies with intake. Thanks in advance!

Positive - I'm glad that you're enjoying your wraps, I may have to try them

I struggle with food and fluids at times as well- sometimes I feel like I'm eating too much and others nothing is appealing and I can't eat - I figured it comes with the territory- how often is it happening to you?

Maybe 2-3 days a week my body and mind says no food! Other days I feel just fine. No longer vomiting, which is good...

It's just hard not having consistency I guess. Like I'm up now and my mouth is dry. The nurse shared that's a sign of dehydration from the day before. So now my focus today will be more Water intake. Knowing my body, more Water throughout the day is less food. A morning like this will result in a 500-700 calorie day, which also means I'll fall asleep before 10pm... No energy.

GNC has liquid B12 so I'm getting some today to help with energy. Food is the answer though, but I'm sure the extra B12 will help a bit.

Leaving in the morning for a cruise to Alaska! It will be interesting how my body responds to unlimited food for 7 days. Almost comical when I think about it LOL!

Positive have a safe and wonderful trip [emoji322][emoji322][emoji322][emoji322][emoji322]

The B12 should give you a boost, I take sublingual b12 daily

Dehydration is no joke but I think part of the problem is the whole no drinking and eating at the same time and having to wait

Let us know how your cruise is

Back from the cruise and still smiling! Worked out 5 days on the cruise and ate/tasted whatever I wanted. Lost 3 pounds and I think it's because I ate more. Now that I'm home it's time to figure out a healthy routine of eating to reach my goal of 10 more pounds.

Thank you It's Time!

Everything is going pretty well. I attended a conference today and received multiple compliments from strangers and others at the conference. Really interesting how I'm treated now that I'm considered thin.

How are you?

Hi Everyone! The month of June seemed to be at a stall. Things just got moving again. I'm 73 lbs lighter. People who see me every day are now noticing. I'm feeling healthy ever day... still cannot eat a lot but I manage. I still want to try a body wrap.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
