BobbyD 211 Posted February 2, 2016 I have had a steady drop in lbs since my surgery in November. Nothing too drastic, just methodical. A couple of times I have gone 3 to 4 days without moving the needle, but this time has been 11 days. Does 11 days of non-movement constitute a stall? I understand we are supposed to "embrace the stall" and I am fully trusting the overall plan. I just wondered what the general consensus was about defining the stall. At what point do you consider a lack of scale movement an actual stall?
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 2, 2016 I don't know if there is a hard and fast rule, but personally I wouldn't consider anything a stall unless it was at least a week without a loss. I am not aware that there is an average. Everyone is different and we all lose weight at various rates at various times. As you seem to be doing, Embrace the Stall! http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall
