sshellssea 12 Posted February 1, 2016 Is anyone having a problem with this? I've been in a weight loss plateau for 2 months my surgery was back in August and I was doing so well
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 1, 2016 None of us lose weight at a constant or steady rate. Stalls (or plateaus) are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. Since you have been in a stall for two months have you talked to your NUT? Are you: Following your program; Tracking your food; Eating slowly and chewing thoroughly; Getting in all of your Protein and fluids every day; Taking your Vitamins and supplements as directed; Avoiding starches and added sugars; and Exercising? Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall
sshellssea 12 Posted February 2, 2016 My NUTs biggest concern right now was my Vitamin levels were absurdly low hopefully once I'm back on track she'll talk to me about weight loss again lol.

Definitely address this first. If you are starving your body won't lose weight. Since it is hard to get all of our nutritional needs met early out, especially with the volume of food we can consume, taking your Vitamins and supplements is critical. It's counterintuitive, but our main focus after surgery is nutrition: especially, fluids, Protein, and Vitamins and minerals. Once you are getting enough nutrition I bet you will be surprised by how well you will lose weight.
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 2, 2016 Of course, I just re-read my post and for some reason I left off the Vitamins. Editing that now!
