liljilo 50 Posted January 30, 2016 I am most nervous about my psych eval in this process. I am scheduled to have it on 2/10 before I start the nutrition sessions because they wanted to make sure I'd get approved. I had an eating disorder in high school and the beginning of college (8 years ago) and I'm nervous that I will fail because of that. Any advice? They said I'd probably get a "yellow flag" because of this.
RNsleever715 117 Posted January 31, 2016 I'd probably just omit that part but I'm sure that's not the right answer ???? All joking aside, I wish you the best of luck. I was bulimic in HS and through my college years also.
Sajijoma 1,324 Posted January 31, 2016 (edited) Just be honest and don't hide anything, because they are there to make sure you are in a good place before surgery, because post op, it's easy to go the other way. You want to make sure your disorder is kept in check and doesn't rear it's ugly head post op...even if that means seeing a psych more than just the initial eval. KajunGuy 0 Posted January 31, 2016 My wife had the surgery it was just a bunch of obvious common sense questions to fill out 150 or so I think.
