kranky813 477 Posted January 29, 2016 I have been struggling with the mental stuff lately. Really not being able to "see" the weight loss on myself. Everyone says that I I have lost weight and look great but honestly I couldn't see it in myself. Well I took a selfie the other day to show off my super cute new shirt and that is sort of when it hit me, I see the loss. I still have a hard time when I am naked but at least I am getting there

JamieLogical 8,713 Posted January 29, 2016 It's definitely a lot easier to see our losses in photos than it is in the mirror. I don't know what that is, but it's certainly true. Good for you!
Chelle68 27 Posted January 29, 2016 I had my sleeve done almost 4 years ago. I lost 98 lbs. Know I only like liquid or soft food like cottage cheese. I could stand to loose more but I fluctuate 3-5 lbs. I hate seeing people eat especially if it is a large portion. I end up having an anxiety attack. Anyone else have these issues? Not sure what your post has to do with this thread, but that sounds horrible. Have you seen a professional about your anxiety issues? Are you anxious because you are afraid for the people eating the food or are you anxious because you are afraid seeing other people eat will make you want to eat things you shouldn't? Chelle68 27 Posted January 29, 2016 It just makes me sick I guess because I remember getting sick early on if I took one bite too many. I can still only eat about 4-5 oz at a time. I do take anxiety meds but I was wondering if anyone else has this kind of struggle. I hate eating.
sleevedmommy413 1 Posted January 31, 2016 Yes, photos are much better than mirror. I have a body dysmorphia issues, but taking photos helps me see progress over looking in mirror
